Do you cover customs or VAT?
For orders within the EU, VAT is included and there are no extra charges.

What’s the difference between VG-10, stainless, and carbon steel?
- VG‑10 is a premium Japanese stainless steel known for edge retention and corrosion resistance.
- Carbon steel is sharper but needs more care.

How should I clean my knife?
Always hand wash with warm water and mild soap. Dry immediately.
Never use a dishwasher! It can damage the blade and handle.
How do I sharpen the knife?
Use a whetstone (sharpening stone) at ~15° angle, or a guided manual sharpener.
Can I use it to cut bones or frozen food?
No. These knives are precision tools and are not meant for hard bones or frozen items.
How should I store the knife?
Store in a knife block, on a magnetic strip, or in a sheath.
Avoid loose drawers where the blade can get damaged.
🔄 Returns & Warranty
What’s your return policy?
You can return items within 14 days of delivery. The item must be unused and in original packaging.
What if I receive a damaged or faulty item?
Email us at contact@hikariknife.com with photos. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund based on the issue.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. All Hikari knives come with a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects and craftsmanship issues.
Please note: This does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper maintenance, or normal wear and tear.
